There was a time when at the beginning of every puja we used to pray :
काले वर्षतु पर्जन्यः - May the Rain god bless us with timely showers.
Then came - " Rain rain go away .............. " being chanted by hundreds of thousands children every day in play schools and kindergartens across the country. Even in underprivileged village schools this chanting has become inevitable.
Can God help but answer this prayer from the innocent minds ?
No wonder, we have droughts every year !
