"Shishyapapam Gurorapi"
The Guru also partakes in the sins committed by the disciple.
Indiscriminate imparting of knowledge to mass audience and giving mass diksha without testing the merits and demerits of the disciples can prove dangerous to the "Guru" as well.

Oh! the priest is DEMANDING money
Ref: Apastamba shrauta sutram prasna 10
In yajna, Somapravakaha is the person assigned to invite learned vedic scholars as ritviks. When he approaches the scholars they ask :
" ka ritvjaha ke yajayanti kacchinnaheenaha kachinna nyastamartvijyam KACCHITKALYANYO DAKSHINAA" - who conducts the yajna, who are other ritviks invited, is the yajna going to be without any shortfall, is the dakshina proper and abundant ?
Then only they decide whether to participate in it or not. Providing suitable and proper dakshina to the brahmanas is very important in yajna, and being the custodians of yajna, it is also the duty of the brahmanas to ensure beforehand that proper dakshina is provided.
Dakshina is considered to be consort of yajna - " yajno gandharvasthasya dakshinaapsarasaha".
This applies to learned scholars and not to " priest by day and auto driver by night" kind of purohits.
If you pay peanuts you will get only monkeys.

Never make ..............
conditional offerings to gods.
Like, If I get so and so thing then I will do such and such thing for you.
First of all it is in bad taste to presume that the gods are greedy after what you are likely to offer on fulfillment of the wish and put them to test on such assumption.
Secondly, it is against the sastras.
Meemamsa puts Vigrahaha (invocation through mantras), Havisveekaraha( acceptance of the offering, tadbhojanam (its enjoyment), truptihi( satisfaction with the offering) as prerequsites for obtaining the devata's prasdaha (blessing)

Maya
Maya is not unreal, it is part seeing/sensing, it is highly filtered part information from the whole. It is part reality. Maya is restriction imposed on the senses, five or more to accept input of a limited range. The sound waves exist in the subsonic, sonic and supersonic frequencies, but we hear only from 20Hz to 20 KHz. This restriction is maya. We think this is all that exists. Living under the illusion that what we hear, see, sense, taste and smell is all that exists is maya.

Deeksha received from a lady guru is eight times more powerful. The essential condition is that the guru should be putravatee (having son).
If deeksha is received from one's own mother, that is capable of conferring all the eight sidhis to the sadhaka.
If the sadhaka has received mantra deeksha from his own mother in dream, then he should not receive deeksha from anybody else.
